Springing Back into Action!

Welcome back to my world. I'd just like to update you with what's going on. I will be purchasing a premium soon, so for a chance to recieve the free one please message me or favorite this. It may be somebody who is very active and someone that has conversed with me often.
Secondly, I'm graduating in 5 months. If you've read my journals, it's obviously been a long road and I can finally get my start and paved ground soon. I'm truly less stressed than last year, and if you have seen I have been posting here and there. I'm planning on setting up a queue for posts, so you're not recieving sparatic notifications.
Thirdly, I'd like some feedback on my poetry. I'd like a comparison to my older works and my newer works so if you respond to this journal with a comparison you will be more likely to receive a 12 month premium membership.
Any other updates I have will follow later, thank you all!

I've updated some things, I am posting here and there now. I miss poetry right now, but I deal.

Apologies

I said week long, but it turned into a month long hiatus in which I responded to nobody before I left. I apologize for that. I'm working on a couple different things not related to deviantart. It's really stressful and I've put this at the back of my book.
I really appreciate the favorites, llamas, and features I've been receiving, I truly do.
I'm just working on a lot of school things and art and such, essays and classes, as well as college apps.
If you see me freaking out and venting, this is probably why. I plan on returning regularly ASAP.

Week Long Hiatus

Today I will be clearing and going through whatever messages and favorites and comments I have yet to respond to. I've been kind of busy lately so if you get a message from something you did a week ago, don't be shocked. I've mostly just written poetry to distract myself from all my outside problems lately.
And by the way, what's with all the llamas I got I hardly get any then I get like 10 in a span of a day what.
Thanks though.
So anyways, I've been able to write things but I didn't have the time to respond and will be doing so now, because I appreciate everything everyone does to support me.
As for Hiatus, I'm going to band camp. I may bring my laptop, but as of now I'm not quite sure. Otherwise I won't be able to post at all, therefore the warning.
I'll see you all later, working on the messages, then packing!!!

Writing Inspiration

Hey guys, this is going to be like a kind of feature- journal post, in a way. I myself find a lot of inspiration by joining and/or looking around at contests. Many times people are unaware of these contests and the word just needs to be put out there! So whether you like the prompt or you want to enter the contest, go at it! If you have any kind of writers block, I hope this can help.

SixWordStories
7 Deadly Sins Project!A type of Flash Fiction, six word stories are (very) short stories with an exact word count: six words. SixWordStories is the place where, alongside quality, quantity really does matter. Though these stories are so brief in length, they can be as profound, if not more, than the prose and poetry you see and read every day, partly because six word stories can tell us so much and yet contain so little.
As a Group, we encourage writers to explore their boundaries with prompts, collaborations and more, but we accept anyone and everyone too! Whether you are a digital artist, photographer, or something else entirely, if you can string six words together into a story, this is the place to be!

Monthly Challenge July 2014 : Faster Than LightIt is going to be midnight for most deviants. For some, it has already passed. For me, living in Singapore (GMT +7) means that it's midnight for me as I post this. For most, it's still June 30th, and for others, it's early morning. I have recently bought a small little indie sci-fi game called Faster Than Light for my iPad. To a point, I consider it better than the PC version in terms of its accessibility and controls. In Faster Than Light (FTL), you man a spaceship carrying important documents that will end an intergalactic war if you succeed. And the way you travel is by using a "Faster Than Light" drive, that allows you to jump stars. It's a beautiful, tactical, and sometimes horrifying (everything is Permadeath, which means that if a crew member dies, or if the ship dies, then you're dead forever.
